Ohio State was able to play their style of game. As a result, they defeated Minnesota 82-69 to improve to 24-0.

In what was a physical and, at times, sloppy game, the Buckeyes were able to execute and continue to do the little things well.  They went after it on the glass, out-rebounding Minnesota 36-29.  They forced the Gophers to commit 19 turnovers and the Buckeyes shot 50 percent from behind the arc.  When you add those factors together, it makes for a great performance.

Ohio State’s next test could be their toughest of the season.

Next Saturday, the Buckeyes travel to Wisconsin.  The Kohl Center is one of the toughest places to play in the country.  The Badgers are playing well as they are coming off wins over Purdue and Michigan State.  If the Buckeyes want to remain undefeated, they must play their best game of the season.

Tip off for next Saturday’s game is 2:00 EST. The game will air on ESPN.  You can also listen live at 97.1 The Fan.

Crazy stats: The Buckeyes are 38-2 in their last 40 games.  However, they are in 0-7 in the Kohl Center.
