Steelers-Eagles: A Nine-Year-Old Previews Sunday's Game

Edward DegtyaryovCorrespondent ISeptember 21, 2008

On Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Philadelphia Eagles.  The game will be played at the Lincoln Financial Field at 4:15 p.m.  I think the Eagles will pull it off by three points in the one-minute mark of the fourth quarter.

In 2004, the Steelers beat the undefeated Eagles at home in Heinz Field 27-3, so this could be payback.  This game will be very close because it is a brand new season.

I think Philadelphia will win because the game will be played at the Eagles' home and they were expected to lose to Dallas but hung with them and came within eight points.

McNabb has two receivers he can count on to get at least five yards per catch.  He can throw under to Brian Westbrook, or he can stretch the field by throwing the ball to DeSean Jackson.  But when McNabb drops back to throw he had better watch out for the Blitzburgh and the hard-hitting linebackers.

The Eagles' D had better watch out for Big Ben because he completes 76 percent of his throws.  The Eagles' defense gets a little break because Roethlisberger has injured his throwing shoulder.

For the second week in a row the Eagles will be facing a 3-4 defense.  Both defenses are really good, so do not take any risks.  I expect that the Steelers and Eagles will have the same amount of rushing yards: 100.  I do not think that this will be a high-scoring game because both defenses are amazing.
