Chicago Bears Sign Andy Fantuz From CFL

The Chicago Bears have signed wide receiver Andy Fantuz. Fantuz led the Canadian Football League in receiving yardage last season.

The 27-year-old Canadian announced today via Twitter that he had signed a deal with the Bears. Fantuz had worked out for several NFL teams, including the New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Andy Fantuz spent five seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season. He caught 87 passes for 1,380 yards and six touchdowns.
