NFL: Ed Hochuli's Job is Safe, Thanks to Mike Shanahan

Ed Hochuli....your job is safe.

After a severely bungled play, and most of the free world calling for your head (and several parts of your anatomy), you've found a friend.

Enter, Mike Shanahan.

Mike, or, according to the media mice, Mr. Gambler, has said he doesn't worry about the call. After all, it went against the Chargers, and in turn, secured a win.

So, in a massive outpouring of support, Denver citizens offered Hochuli a key to the city, and a plush house by the 16th street mall.

And, in aspect, also requested the NFL have Ed officiate the remaining games for the season....Denver will go 16-0!

For all irony, Ed Hochuli has been a southwestern fan for some time, growing up in Arizona, and going to College at UTEP. While maintaining his story of fair play, and no bias, one has to wonder, how does a highly respected ref in the league botch two calls, in one game?

It's ok Ed. Mike still loves you.
