A Good Week for MMA...And Free, Too!

Free MMA is good MMA. And, yep, if there seems to be a little bit more happy freakin' tone in my writing this week, well that's because of three, count them three, different reasons.

1. We have San Jose's own Strikeforce on tap for this week

This is coming up Saturday night, and may I add it's the only other show making money besides UFC. Where, you may ask? Only the happiest place on earth. No, not Disneyland, you G-rated morons...The Playboy Freakin' Mansion.

So Mickey, take your stupid hat off, cuz we only allowing bunny ears at this paaaarrrrty. Boobs and brawls...does life get any better?

But wait, there's more. As when first hearing about this, you were probablly cleaning your shotgun, getting ready to head down to your local post office demanding to know where your invite is. Our good friends at Sherdog, are giving it to all us regular folks, streaming it at 7 p.m. for free tomorrow night.

You see, there really is a God, or maybe Jeff Sherwood is just a really cool mutha f@#ka. True, true, Babalu had to "pull out" of the fight, but the card still looks stellar, and Strikeforce always puts on a damn fine show. I mean, hell, even Dana likes them, what's that say?

2. Dream middleweight semis and finals

Wednesday night at midnight. Live from Japan. And, again, for free.

If you guys haven't been following Dream tourneys, you are missing out on some of the world's best fighters that do not fight in UFC. And, yes, there is a lot of it. Below is the lineup for the middleweight semis and finals, and yeah, they fight two times in a night.

Also, CroCop is going against the guillotine. Overeeem, who is no joke, and current StrikeForce HW champion himself...CroCop has his hands full...Allister, recently on three days notice, made Paul Buentello of AKA tap via choke. Allister has that swagger back and is a dangerous guy.

DREAM 6: Semifinal matchups on Sept. 23 card are Gegard Mousasi vs. Melvin Manhoef and Zelg Galesic vs. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, with the winners squaring off that same night for the title.
