NYC Daily claims that Sting signed a one-year deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. The strange thing is that some well-informed sources in WWE do not believe Sting has signed with the organization.
Well, that's a bit odd. NYC Daily says Sting signed, meanwhile some well-informed sources within the company he supposedly "signed" with WWE do not believe Sting has signed a contract with WWE.
Sting isn't currently signed with the WWE as of right now, but who knows what's in store for the future. Sting also did not sign any contract with TNA. So as of right now, it seems "The Icon" Sting is a free agent. TNA still has Sting as a superstar on their roster at tnawrestling.com.
Sting didn't sign with either company. Since he's on TNA's roster page, does it mean he is staying in TNA? It's unlikely that he'll sign with TNA because the original "THEY" angle was supposed to reunite the Main Event Mafia. Now that Booker T and Kevin Nash are in WWE, the whole MEM plan been ruined.
Sting is most likely to sign with WWE because of this year's WCW themed Hall of Fame.
Fans are also split on the 2.21.11 video shown on RAW. Is it the return of "The Deadman" The Undertaker or the debut of "The Icon" Sting?
We'll have to wait and see and on Feb. 21 we will get the answer.
What do you Bleachers think of Sting being a free agent? Is he going to sign with WWE?
