College Football Week 4 Pick 'em

Ron KnabenbauerCorrespondent ISeptember 19, 2008

This weekend has many great matchups, including a few great SEC games. Ron Knabenbauer of the CU Independent gives his picks for the weekend.

(4) Florida 35 at Tennessee 24

The Gators are looking like they’re in championship form, and Tennessee does not. This is the SEC, so the Vols will keep it close but lose in the end.

Notre Dame 23 at Michigan State 13

Michigan last week, Michigan State this week; let’s hope it doesn’t rain. Good thing for the Irish, the Spartans are not like the Wolverines, so they should have no problem winning this one.

(20) Utah 17 at Air Force 18

Utah looks to reclaim their spot on top of the Mountain West, but those Falcons of Air Force will pull out an edge-of-your-seat win in the end.

(18) Wake Forest 17 at (24) Florida State 24

The Bobby Bowden era is coming to an end, but Bowden will have his Seminoles ready to play and beat Wake Forest.

(6) LSU 20 at (10) Auburn 13

Probably the best game of this weekend, where LSU is going to show why they’re a force to be reckoned within the SEC by beating Auburn.

(3) Georgia 23 at Arizona State 13

I would love to see the Sun Devils beat the Bulldogs, but it’s not going to happen. UGA better be ready for those hot dry temperatures of Tempe, though.

Virginia Tech 17 at North Carolina 20

The Hokies are going to continue to fall, as Carolina will get its biggest win of the season. The Heels are smelling a bowl berth.

Wyoming 14 at (14) BYU 37

Wyoming has no chance in this game with the Cougars just being too good. BYU wants a taste of the BCS this season, and they’re not going to let the Cowboys get in their way.
