National Signing Day Once Again Proves To Be A Feast For The SEC

College football should really be declared the SEC versus everyone else. The conference, which has won the last five BCS National Championships, is not going to let go of their stranglehold over the rest of college football.

According to the Rivals.com class recruiting rankings, the SEC has the top team overall, Alabama, four teams in the top 10 and nine of the top 25 recruiting classes so far.

Among the top 100 players on Rivals.com, 33 of them have committed to SEC schools. The top overall player, DE Jadeveon Clowney will not announce his decision until February 14th. It's widely believed that his decision will come down to Alabama or South Carolina, which is the place that he has grown up.

One non-SEC team that is making a lot of noise today is Florida State. Jimbo Fisher and co. have gotten two five star commitments and 13 four star commitments. Right now they are ranked third on both Rivals.com and ESPN.com class recruiting rankings.

But this day belongs to the SEC, which is once again completely overwhelming everyone else on this most glorious day for college football fans.
