Super Bowl 2011: Madden 11 Predicts Steelers to Win Lombardi Trophy
Super Bowl 2011: Madden 11 Predicts Comeback Win for Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV.
Normally a video game wouldn't sway my Super Bowl pick...except if that game is Madden 11 and it's predicted the winner in six of the last seven Super Bowls.
That will get anyone's attention.
In the video game's annual simulation, the Pittsburgh Steelers are predicted to win Super Bowl XLV against the Green Bay Packers, 24-20, led by a five-catch, 111-yard performance from receiver Mike Wallace.
The score actually should be quite close to this, as I see this being a defensive struggle with the offenses having just enough firepower to eke out points in the 20s.
But as for Wallace, it may be a bit of a reach.
Wallace has a combined 26 receiving yards in the playoffs, although he did have three straight 100-yard games to end the regular season.
