Chelsea Transfer News: Blues close in on £50m Fernando Torres deal

Chelsea are reportedly planning to pay £50 million to sign Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.
The Daily Telegraph reports Chelsea will offer £45 million in cash, plus another £5 million in extras for the 26-year-old.
The Spanish striker handed in a transfer request last week and is thought to favor a move to Stamford Bridge.
