The Georgia Bulldogs Need to Shake Up the Offensive Line

NC NighthawkAnalyst ISeptember 18, 2008

Since South Carolina is not known for having a stellar defense, we Georgia Bulldogs fans have genuine concerns about the lack of production from the offensive line. It's time for a shakeup for game Saturday versus the Arizona State Sun Devils in Tucson, Ariz.

According to, Mark Richt said Tuesday that Georgia could make moves with its starting lineup there for Saturday’s game at Arizona State.  He went further about what that might look like during the SEC teleconference.

What Richt said lent credence to an Internet rumor that offensive tackle Kiante Tripp might have been injured in practice yesterday.

“We could literally have Vince Vance possibly start at left tackle,” Richt said. “We might move Chris Davis. Chris Davis might be the guard. We might have a true center, Ben Jones, at center. Either a true freshman Cordy Glenn at guard with Clint Boling in there, who’s a second year guy at tackle or Boling at guard and Justin Anderson, a redshirt freshman, at right tackle.”
