Usain Bolt: Teams Up With Bob Marley's Daughter For New Olympic Uniform
Usain Bolt, the world-record holder for 100 and 200 meters will be wearing uniforms designed by Cedella Marley, daughter of the famous reggae singer Bob Marley.
"We both break records," Marley told The Associated Press on Wednesday in a telephone interview. "Marleys. Bolt. Legendary."
Cedella Marley was selected by Puma to design the outfits for Team Jamaica.
"I can't think of a better person to design our Olympic outfits than Cedella," Bolt said in a statement. "Puma got that right ... hooking up with a legendary Jamaican. It's going to be inspirational to run in London with that energy surrounding me."
Cedella may be famous because of her father's name. But Bolt has become a celebrity in Jamaica for his own personal accomplishment of being one of the fastest men in the world.
It doesn't really matter who designs his clothes, Bolt likely head to London as a sure favorite win at least a pair of gold medals.
