NHL All Star Game 2011: Team Lidstrom Comes Back to Tie it at Four
After falling behind by a score of 4-0 Team Lidstrom came back to tie the score at four before the end of the period, much to the dismay of the Carolina Hurricane faithful who were most likely hoping that their home team goalie Cam Ward could get out of the first period unscathed.
Anze Kopitar was the first Lidstrom team member to score on Ward, slipping a backhander behind the goalie at the 10:50 mark.
Dustin Byfuglien made it 4-2 when he put a quick snap shot past Ward.
Loui Eriksson then brought team Lidstrom within one when Ward was unable to fully control Ericksson's wrist shot.
The game tying goal came at the 16:30 mark when Matt Duchene broke in on Ward all alone and made no mistake on breakaway chance, firing a snap shot into the net.
