TNA Wrestling: Willing To Host Chad Ochocinco and Marvin Lewis Steel Cage Match
We know Chad Ochocinco has a tendency to run his mouth and not think about what he's saying. The same apparently goes for his fingertips as Ocho reportedly told ESPN's Adam Schefter via Twitter: "Me and Marvin Lewis in a cage match, set it up, I've earned my stripes on my helmet it's time to fight then play."
That's right, Ochocinco wants to go mano-a-mano with his own Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. Although Lewis has yet to show any kind of interest in taking down Ocho inside a wrestling ring, TNA Wrestling his apparently open to the idea of hosting the two.
TNAWrestling.com is reporting: "Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has offered to host Ochocinco vs. Lewis inside a Steel Cage at their annual “Lockdown” event on April 17, which will air live on Pay-Per-View!"
If anyone is smelling a publicity stunt, then you're on the right track. This isn't the first time TNA has offered to host a match that included athletes and celebrities.
Former NFL cornerback Adam "PacMan" Jones was a previous TNA tag team champion with Ron Killings, now R-Truth with the WWE.
TNA has also recruited the likes of Survivor's Jenna Morasca, Danny Bonaduce, NASCAR's Hermie Sadler, Frank Wycheck a former NFL tight end and J-WOWW a reality star on The Jersey Shore.
Anyone think Ochocinco will back out at the last minute if coach Lewis steps to the plate?
