EA Sports: The King Of Sports Gaming
If one gaming company has monopolized the sports industry, that is Electronic Arts.
I bet Trip Hawkins, founder of EA would have never guessed his company would have turned into the $13 billion powerhouse it is today. Quite simply, EA undoubtedly overshadows its competitors into the night.
The franchise has proven itself over and over again with content that continues to innovate. Who would argue that the Grand Theft Auto series is the most popular franchise of all time? I'm not even going to mention the NBA, NFL, NHL, and many other games that continue to receive game of the year awards.
The competitors simply don't come close. The underperforming frame-rates, lax graphics, and overly repetitive forms of gameplay stand far from what they truly could be. Am I wrong? For example, I haven't found one person who enjoyed the camera angles or even the way to release the ball.
What's your take? EA, in my opinion truly is the innovator of gaming.
The logo, trademark, and picture are sole property of Electronic Arts.
