Tottenham, Kicking Ass and Breaking Records!
Tottenham. The name rings out loud throughout the land. Striking fear into the opposition's players and fans alike. The flair and passing bemuses and beats everyone who steps before them.
But that time died long ago.
Now it's 2008, and Tottenham still sniffs the record books, looking to break them wherever they find them.
I am, of course, talking about Derby’s 11-point total.
Tottenham, on current form of one point every four games, are due to end with 9.5 points. Even if we’re being generous, and I may as well be, we can round that up to 10 points.
Ten points.
Ten. Points. Ten points.
I, one out of millions, will be hoping that their dreams of record-breaking, of defying the powers that be, come to fruition. That they can finally beat the unbeatable and claim this record as their own!
After all, in the (paraphrased) words of King Leonidas from 300...
THIS...IS...TOTTENHAM!!!
