The Chicago Bulls made it clear on Thursday that their starting point guard, Derrick Rose, has recently been suffering from a pair of stomach ulcers that has restricted his appetite tremendously, making him feel constantly fatigued.
Rose revealed to ESPNChicago.com, "I haven't really been able to eat anything so my energy is kind of low, but every day it should be all right. I guess I've been eating too much spicy food or something like that, because I love spicy food. But other than that I think I've been eating well, besides the spicy food. I'm going to have to watch a lot of things I eat now. [Doctors] gave me a list, there's a lot of things on it."
The three-year pro out of Memphis did not practice on Thursday, but did happen to participate in Chicago's shootaround earlier today. Rose will be a game-time decision for tonight's Eastern Conference battle against the Orlando Magic, and C.J. Watson is expected to take over the starting duties if Rose is unable to perform.
Against an elite team like the Magic, you can expect Derrick Rose to play in this game, so you fantasy owners that have the versatile point guard on your squad should take the risk and leave him in the starting lineup.
Check back for any updates surrounding Derrick Rose prior to tonight's matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic.
