One day after the Noles received some tremendous news that Nick O'Leary committed to them, five-star Tony Steward gave his visit a perfect "10."
The biggest question with only a few weeks remaining before signing day is whether or not the visit was good enough to pull away from Clemson.
"On a scale of 1-10, it was certainly a 10 because of how comfortable I was with the coaches and players," explained Steward. "Everything was answered and I guess the biggest thing for the visit entirely was how comfortable I was there. I was very comfortable with the campus, coaches, and the players I hung out with. It was a great visit."
Being comfortable in his surroundings is a key component to where he will end up. Both finalists, Clemson and Florida State, were given high regards on how comfortable they were able to make him feel on his respective visits.
"As I said before, it was just a comfortable experience from the start, and that's the main thing I take away from the visit to Florida State and all the big highlights through the week," said Steward.
Florida State was his last visit, and that in a way plays out in favor of the Noles because they leave that last impression on him. Possibly an impression that could bring home a prize possession and a huge piece to an already outstanding recruiting class.
When signing day arrives, there will be only two hats sitting on a table when he makes his decision. Clemson and Florida State, the last two standing. Who will come out on top? My guess is that things are neck-and-neck between the two, but when it's all said and done, I still like the Garnet and Gold to win out in this battle.
