Blake Griffin Video: Watch His Latest Sensational Slam
Can Blake Griffin really surprise us anymore?
This man has taken the league by storm in his first full year, and looks like he's one of the best young players in a league filled with young stars. How much more can you really write about his athleticism, his wingspan, his absolute dominance down low and his ability to make defenders and low-post players look small by comparison?
With that said, let's just watch and admire, shall we?
Each time we hear about another Blake Griffin dunk, we have to be wondering in the back of our minds how much more he can do and how he can top himself. Let's put it this way: We've seen better and more fantastic finishes from Griffin than this one. But the dunk itself is almost secondary to the process leading up to the dunk.
Not only is this a coast-to-coast dunk with Griffin flying down the court like he's on the 405 or the 101 (then again, he's not really flying as much as he's gliding down the court), but he adds a little move in there too.
It's not just any move—it's a switching-hands spin-o-rama around Corey Brewer that made him look like a tackler trying to catch Barry Sanders. That's before Griffin finishes it off with a nice little leaping dunk from just inside the free-throw line.
Really, what else can you say? Perhaps we should just give him the Slam Dunk Contest trophy now to save time.
