Although it has been reported that he quit because of creative problems, or that he was fired for an unspecified reason, the truth is that WWE superstar Hardcore Bob Holly has been suspended and is currently in rehab for a pain pill addiction.

He was caught stealing pills from another wrestler's bag and was immediately put into a rehab facility. He has been away from the WWE for a few months now and it is unclear when he will be back.

Wrestlers around his age are starting to wear down from all the travel and fighting, and some develop addictions to pain pills like Aleve and Tylenol. Eddie Guerrero had a pain pill problem and also a few steroid problems too. We can't really relate it to Holly's condition, but it is similar.

They didn't want what happened to Guerrero to happen to Holly. That is the main reason for rehab.

The reason the problem hadn't been detected before now was that Holly passed the Health and Wellness test that the WWE does for every wrestler as a mandatory precaution.

I just hope that Hardcore Holly gets better soon, because I'd love to see him back in the ring.
