Certainly not. The Colorado Buffaloes basketball program has been a joke for almost every year since Chauncey Billups left in 1997, but they have begun to reverse that image this year.

I know it’s hard for college basketball fans to get used to a good Buffs team. Some are even in denial about it.

“Oh, Missouri was just tired because of the altitude.”

“Ok, a lot of mediocre teams can beat a No. 20 team.”

“So they’re 3-0 in the conference…No big deal."

Whatever these nay-sayers tell us, we Buffs fans know our team is legit. Alec Burks (19.7 PPG) is one of the best in the Big 12, as is Cory Higgins (16.6). Levi Knutson is one of the most well-rounded big man in the conference, as well.
