Siena won back to back games for the first time in nearly a month and nipped Canisius, 73-69, in a Monday matinée at the Times Union Center.
Ryan Rossiter tied his season-high with 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds en route to his 13th double-double the season. Clarence Jackson, in his second game back following a month long absence due to a high ankle sprain, scored 15 points but only hit 5-of-17 shots from the field and 2-of-10 from beyond the arc.
Sophomore O.D Anosike grabbed eight rebounds and now has 38 boards in his last four games, his best rebounding stretch of the season. The Saints (7-10, 4-3) out rebounded the Golden Griffins, 32-29.
Canisius' Gaby Belardo led all scorers with 29 points and paced all players with four made three-pointers.
Siena travels to St. Peter's on Friday and will look to win three in a row for the first time all year.
The Golden Griffins (8-9, 2-5) return home to host Fairfield on Friday.
