Since 1925, the annual East-West Shrine Game has brought together some of college football's most elite talent to play in front of NFL scouts. The game benefits the Shriners Hospital for Children.
During the week preceding the game, the players and coaches visit the local Shriners Hospital to meet the children who are suffering from serious health conditions. Many times, the players are blessed and inspired by the children just as much, if not more, than the children are by meeting the players.
This year's head coaches will be Dan Reeves for the East squad and Wade Phillips for the West. Both worked together with the Atlanta Falcons from 2002-2003 when Reeves was head coach and Phillips was defensive coordinator.
The 2011 game will be played in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, January 22 at 4:00 Eastern. It will be televised live on NFL Network.
The following pages will list the 2011 players at each position according to the East and West rosters.
