The PF Chang's Marathon is currently underway, having started at 7:40 mountain standard time. Officially the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon, there are a few people considered frontrunners, namely Josh Cox, who has been lighting up courses already this year; for more on that, see here.

There are, however, other marathon runners who seem like they could get the edge. The two that seem the closest to overtaking Cox so far are Kevin Castille, Roosevelt Cook and Adam Tribble. Castile is a Louisiana native who has been on the marathon scene for many years, while Tribble is an assistant coach for the Oregon State Beavers.

Cook is a graduate of Fresno State, and has since been a veteran of running events.
