Clarence Jackson Paces Siena Saints in 66-59 Triumph Over Marist

Clarence Jackson led all scorers with 19 points as Siena outlasted Marist, 66-59, Friday night at the McCann Center.

The senior swingman returned after missing a month with a high ankle sprain, but played 26 minutes and matched his season-high with five 3-pointers. Ryan Rossiter scored 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season.

Marist placed four players in double figures, including freshman Adam Carr, who scored 10 points while adding 13 rebounds and three blocks.

The Saints (6-10, 3-3) entered the game losers of four of their last five and picked up their first road win since a November 26 overtime triumph at Princeton. Siena will look to pick up a second consecutive victory—something they have done only once all season—when they return home to host Cainsius Monday at the Times Union Center.

The Red Foxes (4-14, 3-3) have lost eight of their last 10 games and travel to Iona on Sunday.
