Was Urban Meyer Trying to Cover the Spread?

I find it hard to believe, personally, with a clear victory in sight, that Urban Meyer had to kick the field goal to go up 26-3 and cover the 21-point spread.

This seems very suspicious to me, and I think the NCAA should look into the matter in more detail. You be the judge. Something just doesn't feel right with the whole deal.
