Oregon Basketball Court: Worst Playing Surface Ever?

The Oregon Ducks unveiled their new basketball court on Thursday to mixed reactions.

Instead of the normal hardwood basketball court that most people are accustomed to, the Ducks made their court look like people are looking up through trees.

Some people tuned into the game and were confused with what they were looking at. A few people even thought the court had not been completely finished.

Nope, that is exactly what they were going for.

After seeing the court in action it begs the question; is that court the worst playing surface ever?

The only other two playing surfaces that deserve mention along with Oregon’s court are Boise State’s Smurf-Turf and Eastern Washington’s new red turf.

Comparing the Oregon court with the Smurf-Turf and the red turf, I think the worst is the red turf, but it is a very close argument.
