Shawn Michaels is the headliner.

After all these years of great performances, he deserves it. Throughout an illustrious career that spanned three different decades, Michaels has produced countless "match of the year" candidates.

He deserves the spotlight at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at WrestleMania 27.

However, there's a certain portion of the Internet wrestling community that doesn't feel that he deserves that honor. These are the same group of fans that are hoping that WWE will announce more big name wrestlers, like Sting and the Rock, for this year's ceremony.

WWE has a pretty well thought out plan when it comes to the Hall of Fame. They generally choose one big star, give him the spotlight and surround him with less popular inductees. That's how you're supposed to honor someone of the stature of Michaels.

It's also how you would honor someone who has done as much for the business as Sting and the Rock. Not only do they both deserve to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but they also deserve to have the ceremony revolve around them.

By inducting all three in the same year, it makes it feel less special for each of them. It also would be a business mistake since it's not that easy to find featured guys for the Hall of Fame every year. Things need to be spread out.

Michaels is more than enough this year.
