It was a very wet night at Fenway Park, Friday. Tim Wakefield turned in one of his best starts of the season tying his season high 8 inning performance while only giving up 3 hits. The offense also kicked it up a notch as they scrambled to score 7 runs in a night where Toronto committed 2 errors both off of the glove of Scott Rollen.

Meanwhile Kevin Cash, the once every five day catcher for Tim Wakefield homered in the eighth to really put away the Toronto Blue Jays.My A.L. MVP Dustin Pedroia also doubled  to increase his batting average to .327 .

The Red Sox will play a double header tomorrow against the Blue jays, where reports have it that Bartolo Colone will start either of the two games.

The Tampa Bay Rays will also play a double header  tomorrow in the Bronx where the Red Sox could do as much as tie the Rays for the division lead. The first time in forever, we want the Yankees to win?
