Even through a loss, positives can be found.

In an effort to bring his team back from 12 points down late in the forth quarter, Tarvaris Jackson jogs on to the field to take command of the huddle.  The players respect him, his coaches have faith in him. The Fans? I am not to sure as to how many Tarvaris Jackson fans there are, but I do know that he has more than Daunte Culpepper at this point. I've watched every game he has played and I belie E this young, gun slinging quarterback from Alabama State can lead this team to the playoffs and possibly a Super Bowl. This may not be the year, but watching him progress from his play makes me want to believe that it will happen. I think the best way to describe him is he is a poor mans Donavan McNabb. Tarvaris is faster and has a stronger arm. Donavan has better accuracy and pocket  awareness. Tarvaris will gain that awareness and accuracy through time spent on the field.

Now on monday night, i was there at the game and i watched as Tarvaris threw that interception. At first i thought it was going to Bernard Berrian, but then i watched the replay and realized the tight end cut his route short, causing an over throw. Whatever the cause, it was a mistake that Tarvaris will learn from and improve himself from. This weekend he takes on Peyton Manning. This is a quarterback that he can learn from. Tarvaris is a hard worker and is trying his best to lead this team to the playoffs for the first time since 2004. By seasons end we will have a better idea if he is the real deal or if he is just a really good back up. hopefully he is a really great starter
