Affliction Two Postponed! Is the UFC Involved?

Affliction Two: Day of Reckoning is the follow-up to the greatest card of the year and, arguably, MMA history. Right? Maybe least not for now.

This card was scheduled to be headlined by Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett, and it also featured young up-and-coming prospects like Chris Horodecki and Dan Lauzon. They may have to wait a while.

This event was scheduled to take place in the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. The ideal location to upstage the UFC. This brings me to my next conspiracy theory: UFC involvement.

Now, this may sound crazy, but I don't put anything past the company that runs virtually everything in terms of MMA. Zuffa is a Las Vegas hard hitter, and if the Thomas and Mack Center were threatened with losing UFC business, they may have pulled out in fear of losing big bucks. This is logical enough.

Next, as Zuffa works on monopolizing every market in the country, such as Illinois, where UFC fight night will be held next week and also where UFC 91 will be held. The UFC needs to hit all the major cities. They can't let anybody flourish in the states; especially one with big names and Donald Trump on their side! It's inexcusable!

If a company that was once almost outlawed by congress comes up and knocks Donald Trump off of the Vegas scene, that means they're doing something right. My message to the T and M center...Be a rebel. Tell Zuffa to screw off. The up-and-comer always has a shot in this business.
