No, we're not going to talk about the NFL, but about Michigan's new hire as head coach San Diego State Head Coach Brady Hoke.

Hoke comes from a non-BCS school (and therefore to the BCS snobs, the purgatory that goes between I-AA and BCS) that has been impressive this year.

Not only did SDSU comfortably beat Navy's triple-option and Notre Dame's offense in a 35-14 Poinsettia Bowl win, they also lost to TCU 40-35. Their other losses were heart breakers, too.

He'll inherit a pretty great QB in Denard Robinson (Heisman anyone??), and a pretty awful defense.

Michigan fans might be furious that they didn't get Les Miles, but this Brady guy is a damned good coach. We at the VFA hope we're wrong.
