BCS Championship Game: Les Miles Meets with Michigan
LSU officials have confirmed that head football coach Les Miles has met with Michigan officials regarding the opening in Ann Arbor.
According to the Associated Press, LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette says Miles had the meeting in Baton Rouge on Monday evening, but says he cannot say who represented Michigan at the meeting. Bonnette says Miles' status as LSU coach remains unchanged and Miles still plans to travel to Dallas on Tuesday to speak at an American Football Coaches Association gathering.
Can't imagine that athletic director David Brandon wasn't one of the Michigan officials. Not only is he conducting the search on his own, but Brandon was a former teammate of Miles at U-M when both played for Bo Schembechler.
