BCS Championship Game: Todd Graham hired at Pitt, Les Miles to meet Michigan

Believe it or not, there is news in the college football world outside of Glendale, Ariz.

Pittsburgh has a new football coach, hiring Todd Graham away from Tulsa. According to the AP, Tulsa's players held an 8 p.m. EST team meeting tonight at which Graham announced the move. Pitt made the hiring official shortly after that.

Graham had a 36-17 record in four seasons at Tulsa, including a 10-3 record this season.

ESPN is reporting that LSU coach Les Miles will meet with Michigan and, if offered the job, will accept. I have to believe that will be the case, because U-M can't afford another embarrassing search like in 2007, and wouldn't be meeting with Miles unless it was sure the coach would return to his alma mater in Ann Arbor.
