Cam Newton: Could This Be The Last Game He Plays For Auburn?

Cam Newton enters tonight's BCS Championship game as the most recognized figure on the field. He was the best player in college football by a fairly big margin and also had to wade through a scandal on the back half of the season. That scandal coupled with Newton's talent, could be a recipe for Cam to bolt Auburn early.
It was found by NCAA investigators that Cecil Newton, Cam's father, inquired about getting paid from Mississippi State for Cam's services. The fact that Cam knew nothing has kept him playing. But the investigation is ongoing. Only he and his father know for sure the extent of their inquiries. If they feel he may be suspended at anytime next season, they would do well to leave early.
You also have the fact of Cam Newton's talent to consider. He is a strong armed QB that can break open a game with his running ability. There is no doubt that he would be snatched up in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Could this be his last game as an Auburn Tiger? If he has a game like Vince Young's in the Rose Bowl against USC, the answer is an fervent yes.
