Those of you have been around the Bay Area for awhile might be familiar with this face. Once a weekend reporter/anchor for San Francisco’s KRON-TV, Julie Luck now works on the other side of the country as the lead weekday nightly anchor in Greensboro, N.C.

She is a Cal alum and former cheerleader for the Bears, graduating with a degree in mass communications after doing work across the country in Maine, Oregon and South Carolina.

Her blog is here. It is updated…occasionally. On the bright side, it’s at a more frequent rate than Nate Longshore’s site. Heh. Her fanclub is the cleverly named

Julie Luck Club. She also has a Facebook profile, so if you just want to be creepy and friend her straight up, click here to send her a message. You probably wouldn’t be any less creepy than the community commenters who would enslave themselves to her even if she was bald.

Just as importantly, she’s a big college football/basketball fan in her spare time. I think we know what she’ll be doing this Saturday morning, hopefully scarfing down on one of these.
