The last trivia question asked what year the Red Sox had six games of allowing 15 or more runs (this year they have four). The answer is 1923, the year they gave up up 27 to Cleveland (July 7) and 24 to the Yankees (September 28). Leaderboard is updated.

The new trivia question: Who was originally voted the 1986 World Series MVP before the New York Mets rallied to beat the Red Sox in Game Six?

HONOR CODE: Rely on only your memory, guesses, or the roster of the 1986 Red Sox only. WINNER GETS: To do the game notes for tomorrow (e-mail me no later than 3 p.m. tomorrow with the notes). SPONSOR: As you can see, we have a new sponsor. The grand prize for this round of trivia, which will end Oct. 31, is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 with 5 MP, 6X Optical Zoom, 2-Inch Diagonal LCD.
