Wild Card Weekend: Can Seattle Seahawks Win Against New Orleans Saints?

The Seattle Seahawks have the uncanny distinction of being the worst division winner to ever qualify for the NFL playoffs.  But that doesn't necessarily mean that they're destined for a short playoff run.

Seattle has a clean slate now that the playoffs have started and anything can happen.

Matched up against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Seahawks weren't given much of a shot to win this weekend's Wild Card game.

However, as Saturday's game moves closer to the end of the third quarter, the Seahawks have a two touchdown lead.

Yes, Pete Carroll's football team can definitely pull of a big upset. Their defense needs to come through late in the game.

The Seahawks' running game has been very effective in this game and Matt Hasselbeck has led the charge, throwing for four touchdowns.

It should be an interesting conclusion to today's game as Drew Brees will be burdened with the responsibility to manufacture a monumental comeback.
