Mike Tyson: Iron Mike To Star In Reality TV Show 'Taking On Tyson'
Tyson, a former heavyweight champion and one of the best boxers of his generation will become the star of his own reality television show on Animal Planet.
No, the show won't be about boxing. It will actually center around Tyson's other love: racing pigeons.
"There will be some things about me," Tyson said about his upcoming show. "I have a pretty colorful past. But this show is all about the pigeons."
"Taking On Tyson," will be a six-episode reality series that begins March 6 on Animal Planet.
His reality show brings him back to his roots, in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up and first fell in love with the pigeons. Tyson told the New York Daily News that he admires the loyalty and skill of pigeons. He also added that these pigeons are not your ordinary old street birds.
