Will Jeff Hardy Ever Win "The Big One"?

Jeff Hardy. He has his critics and his fans too. Some call him a "Spot Monkey" which I think is false. If you have been watching his matches lately he has really been toning down the high flying stuff. Jeff is evolving in the ring which is good for his career, but is it too late?

This past January we saw Jeff Hardy come within inches of becoming world champion. He had wins over Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Randy Orton. He was seemingly on top of the world. Unfortunately, Jeff became his own enemy and was suspended and missed out not only on Wrestlemania, but his huge main event push.

Here is the question. Could Jeff Hardy have missed out on his one and only shot at becoming a World Champion? He was scheduled to be in Wrestlemania 24's Money in the Bank ladder match. Which many believed he was scheduled to win, and move on to his first WWE Championship reign.

Did Jeff miss his chance? Some say yes and call him overrated, and others like me say no and call him a great worker who deserves his dues.

If you were to ask me I would say Jeff Hardy still has a chance to capture the world champion, but he has to walk a thin line to do so. When I say "thin line" I simply mean that Jeff Hardy needs to keep himself out of trouble. No more drug suspensions and no more injuries. If Jeff can keep himself healthy there is no limit to what he can accomplish.

It seems every two to three months Jeff is either out on a drug suspension or is injured and it always happens just as he is picking up steam. When he comes back he has to start all over again.

It is not that Jeff isn't over. Trust me Jeff is WAY over at this point. I don't think management has enough faith in him to hold the world championship. It is almost like there waiting on his third and finial drug suspension. It is too bad too, because I think Hardy would make a really good champion. He wouldn't be an underdog, but a fighting champion who would put the title on the line against anyone at anytime.

Time will tell if Vince and management will ever have enough faith in Jeff Hardy to make him their World Champion, but I really hope they give him a chance to prove himslef. Triple H is going to have to pass that title on to somebody sooner or later. Here is hoping the "Rainbow Haired Warrior" gets what he deserves. He has paid his dues, and it is his time now!
