NFL Playoff Predictions are running rampant, and one major conspiracy is the possibility of the Steelers getting knocked off in the second round.

While holding the No. 2 seed in the AFC, the Steelers seem to be the weakest team skipping the Wild Card round. When the Steelers open their playoff run, they could be facing the Baltimore Ravens, the very team that was chasing down their lead in the AFC North, and tied them with the same record.

The Ravens split the season series with the Steelers, but both games were close contests, and it seems the Ravens' defense has gotten even more stingy. They only gave up 27 points to the Steelers in two games, and Baltimore seems to have plenty of momentum heading into the post-season.

Joe Flacco and Ray Rice have become a steady partnership of balanced passing paced by solid running. Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger has be a question mark for health concerns lately, and the Steelers will need every bit of his potential if they expect to continue in the playoffs.
