NFL Playoff Predictions: Michael Vick Healthy Enough to Lead Eagles?
NFL Playoff Predictions are here, and it's time to speculate on the status of Michael Vick and his ability to lead the Eagles in a playoff run.
Vick is still nursing a deep quad contusion that kept him out of most of the Eagles' season finale against the Dallas Cowboys. Vick's back-up, Kevin Kolb, was largely ineffective most of the game, and Vick was brought in, while hobbled, to pick up the pace of the game.
Philadelphia will open the playoffs in the Wild Card round against the Green Bay Packers. As it stands on Friday, the Eagles are actually the underdogs as the NFC East Champs.
The story of Vick's return to football isn't complete, according to analysts and bloggers. Most feel only a strong playoff run would firmly cement Vick back into the NFL, and help bury his past indiscretions.
With Aaron Rodgers returning to start following two concussions, there are doubts the Eagles will make it past this round. He is expected to play, and is listed as probable. Much is up in the air, and much is at stake. The Eagles' fate may depend on the Vick's legs.
