Matt Cassel: Has Tom Brady Helped His Former Backup Prepare For Baltimore?
Matt Cassel has come a long way from being Tom Brady's backup in New England but that doesn't mean he forgot where he came from as he has talked with Brady as the Chiefs head into a huge matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
"He told me everything we needed to do to beat him so I think we're good to go," Cassel said to the media as he laughed.
"We just had brief discussion about their team and again he just reiterated what you see on film -- they're a big, physical team," Cassel said to the media. "They've got an outstanding front seven. You look across the ball you see, who's been playing for ever and he's an outstanding player. You've got Suggs, Ngata and in the secondary you have two great safeties with Reed and Landry's been outstanding. They're an outstanding defense. They're the best defense we've seen up to this point and we're excited about playing them. "
It will be interesting to see how much that helps as Cassel tries to give Kansas City its first playoff win in some time and I think we're in for one heck of a game on Sunday between these two teams.
