Second chances.  We all deserve one.

Just ask Ted Williams.

Williams once lived a life full of promise.  He always dreamed of becoming a radio personality and was making it a reality.  That dream came crashing down when he put alcohol and drugs before his passion.

Williams, until recently, called a tent his home on Interstate 71 in Ohio and his days consisted of begging for change.

Now, Ted is an employee of the Cleveland Cavaliers, after they contacted him because of his perfect radio voice.

They plan to utilize his talents for their radio and TV broadcast, as well as voice over for their upcoming website.

The Cavs are not the only ones showing interest, as NFL Films is pursuing the Susan Boyle of radio for a possible voiceover opportunity in one of their next films.

The "Homeless DJ" plans on flying to New York to share the news with his 90-year-old mother, who he says has always been his biggest supporter.

Maybe Williams' voice will be the Cavs good luck charm.  We all know they sure could use it.
