David Silva and Mario Balotelli Ruled Out Of City's Trip To Arsenal
Silva and Balotelli celebrate with City skipper Carlos Tevez

David Silva and Mario Balotelli have been confirmed as injured by Roberto Mancini, manager of Manchester City.

Balotelli is expected to return for the FA Cup tie vs. Leicester City this Sunday, while Silva should be back for the match against Wolves in a week's time.

Silva has adjusted well to life in the Premier League and has put in consistently excellent performances. He provides that special spark in City's lineup and is the main creative force in the side. He has become truly influential, and his absence is a big loss.

Balotelli has been on and off. He can be infuriatingly lazy one moment, the next he is scoring a hat trick.

One good thing about him is that he has been making good-headed clearances for City when under the kosh.

He has 8 goals in 11 appearances, not a bad tally, so goals will be harder to come by for City in this matchup.

Adam Johnson and James Milner are expected to start in their places.
