It's that time of the season again Ladies and Gentlemen; Time for the Philadelphia Eagles ( 1-0 ) and the Dallas Cowboys ( 1- 0 ) to battle it out on the gridiron once again. Last time the Eagles and 'Boys met the Eagles won 10 - 6. The Eagles D looked outstanding and Tony Romo looked kind of like he was afraid of that infamous Eagles Defense. In 08 now we have Asante Samuel, who is the key Defensive player in which the Eagles organization signed during the Off-Season. The Eagles Defense last week versus the St.Louis Rams let in no Touchdowns. They allowed Steven Jackson to get only 40 Yards on 14 Attempts. The Eagles front seven hasn't really been recognized, but letting one of the Elite Running Backs of the league get only 40 yards, they are good. Joe Flacco(QB Ravens) had 37 yards on four attempts and one Touchdown. A Pocket QB had almost as many yards and more TD's than Steven Jackson last week. The Eagles Defense and Special Teams was pretty much lights out. On the other side of the ball was McNabb and the Eagles Offense. Donovan McNabb had 361 Yards (Passing) and three TD tosses to three of the five WRs that were active last week. Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis were out last week by way of injuries. That didn't stop McNabb and his backup WRs. Hank Baskett, Greg Lewis, and LJ Smith all had a TD against the Rams. Rookie DeSean Jackson had 97 PR Yards, 6 Receptions, and 106 Yards. The Eagles are looking better than they did in 2004 when they went to the Superbowl.

On the other hand the Cowboys. . . No one cares. Sorry. Ok, they have Marion Barber, T.O, and Romo on Offense. The Eagles Secondary is way to good to allow Romo to even get 200 on us. Hopefully the Eagles D will send those old, classic, Jim Johnson blitzes as usual. If we contain Barber we win the game.

   I predict the score 17 - 10 Eagles.
