After being a hero in Superbowl XLII, Plaxico Burress soon found himself in a jail cell after bringing a gun to a nightclub and shooting himself in the leg.

Not much later, he was released from the Giants, and his fall from grace began. However, things may soon turn up for Burress. Like Vick, he had so much talent and potential, that were wasted for years behind bars. Also like Vick, he can redeem himself.

Everyone likes to see players with a second chance succeed, and Plax can be another story just like that. Maybe not to the MVP-like season Vick has had, but he could again be a premier wide receiver.

It is no secret that Steve Tisch and John Mara both always liked Burress. and both of them feel like he deserves another shot after serving his debt to society.

Burress was, and still can be an elite receiver in the NFL. He'll be out this summer, in time, and hopefully in some sort of shape to make an attempt at training camp. After a disappointing dismissal from the 2010 season, the Giants should make a splash and sign Burress. He won't have a lot of negotiating room because he was in jail for 2 years. Instead, he will probably sign any fair deal the Giants offer. Because he will want to return to the glory days where he won a super bowl, and he'd be thankful Tisch and Mara are willing to give him another shot.

Eli through way too many picks this year, but maybe if he had the 6 ft. 5 in. receiver, some of those passes that were tipped by Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham would have been right in Plax's bread basket.

Take a chance Giants. Please. It's not really that big of a chance, we all know how good Burress can be, let him be the next Vick. We can handle all the gun signs and puns if it brings another ring to New York.
