North Texas Mean Green's Tristan Thompson leads all Sun Belt Conference scorers, averaging 17.5 points per game.

The senior guard from Angleton, Texas has scored in double figures in all but two contests this season, with high-scoring games against Texas-Arlington (29) and Grambling State (28).

One of the keys to Thompson's game is his ability to get to the line. No one in the Sun Belt Conference shoots as many free throws as he does. In UNT's first fifteen games of the 2010-11 season, Thompson has shot 117 free throws, connecting on 82.9 percent of his tries.
