Avery Bradley Transferring to Prep School in Las Vegas

According to Collegehoops.net, Avery Bradley will be transferring from Tacoma Bellarmine Prep in Washington to Findlay Prep in Las Vegas. Bradley is ranked in the top 5 shooting guards in numerous scouting publications and his short list of schools include: Kansas, Texas (Visiting on 9/13), UCLA, Arizona, and Washington.

The move to Findaly and Las Vegas is for academic reasons and Bradley feels the new school will give him a better chance to quailify with the NCAA academically. I am not sure how many of you have ever been to Vegas, but I am pretty sure that is the last place I would go to improve my academic standing…

The move will break up perhaps the most potent backcourt in High-School basketball as his point guard is another blue chip recruit in Abdul Gaddy. Gaddy, who visited UCLA over the weekend, has supposedly narrowed his choices between Arizona and UCLA. Other schools he was interested in included Washington and Memphis.

In July, I saw both of these players in action when they were with their AAU team the Northwest Panthers. I wrote about my thoughts and reviews of both Gaddy and Bradley and you can check them out in the link.
