Joe Webb, Work in Progress
It says something that Joe Webb is already better than Tarvaris Jackson, and what it says is "Brad Childress is terrible. Terrible at selecting and developing quarterbacks. And just about everything else."
But being better than Tarvaris Jackson is a backhanded compliment and Webb still has work to do. He underthrew Percy Harvin on a seam route that should've been six points. After some smart scrambling to buy time, showing the wheels that make him such a tantalizing prospect, he overthrew a wide, wide-open Lorenzo Booker on the sideline for what should've been six points, showing the touch that makes him such a work in progress.
At the end of one quarter, it's zip-zip. I'm pretty sure I'm one of only 18 people watching this game.
